Eight Become Seven

Eight Become Seven is an installation of seven translucent fish cast from a handmade concrete mold and suspended within a window. Inspired by the artist's graduation from The Ohio State University and departure from her synchronized swimming team, the absent eighth fish becomes a metaphor for the transition from belonging to separation, reflecting on the lasting bonds formed through shared experience even as life carries us in different directions.
